    This place is nice when it's not busy! It's very homey and is a great spot in lakeside. The server was very nice and waited patiently when we couldn't decide what to order right away. I had the 1/3 pulled pork sandwhich and honestly I would come back just to eat that, it was so good.

    Update: went here the other day and it's improved since I had been here last. Food was actually pretty good. Service was solid. One of the biggest downsides is how dark it is still. Price is slightly higher than what you get, but definitely a good place to go if you're in the area or other plans fall through.

    Service was good, the food was nothing to write home about. The croutons in my salad were so greasy you could pinch one and see the grease start to run down your finger. The ice tea was good

    This isn't the Boll Weevil of the 70's and 80's but you can still get that old feeling if you look for it. Schooners are still nice and cold and everyone is friendly. No more full condiment trays either 😯 but what they have is good.
